COLOR COAT


Concrete can be easily and economically changed to brick red, green, blue, brown, dove grey or french grey.  Color Coat is highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals and salts, oils, etc. and has superior adhesion and strength for impact and traffic.  Color Coat can be used in both interior and exterior applications. 

Where dry shake hardeners are being used and where there is an uneven finish, Color Coat can be used to even out the color. Color Coat is the accepted leader in the industry for commercial and industrial projects that require durable protection as well as beautification.

Color Coat is made with high end acrylic resins blended in a solvent base.    Color Coat is a very economical and does not require a lot of labor or expertise to install.  Color Coat can be installed over top of penetrant sealers and stains.

USES
  • Applies easily to freshly finished or old concrete surfaces
  • Designed for maximum protection and enhancement of  concrete driveways, concrete walks, pre-cast concrete, concrete ramps, and architectural slabs.
  • Can be used for both interior and exterior concrete surfaces

APPLICATION
SEALING CONCRETE
  • Area to be sealed must be cleaned and free of all foreign matter such as dirt, rubber marks, paint, oil, grease etc.  
  • Only apply product to a dry surface. 
  • Recommended application temperature is 20 C or 68 F range.
  • Thin coats are required (if the coating is applied too thick, or when temperatures are too hot, bubbling may occur).
  • Roll  product on, do not spray.  Apply with a brush, or a long nap roller. Apply product uniformly to form a continuous film.
  • Apply at 300 sq. ft. per gallon, or 7.4 sq. m. per liter on dry surface.
  • Second coat can be applied 4 hours after 1st coat.
  • Two to three coats are recommended.

DRYING TIME  At 77 F or 25C
Dry to touch - 35 minutes
Re-Coat - 4 to 6 hours
Light foot traffic - 4 hours
Normal traffic - overnight
Maximum hardness - 7 days
