STAMP MASTER  1/4 INCH OVERLAY

Today, Decorative Concrete has become a stylish alternative material for flooring in commercial buildings, exterior landscaping, and interior home updates.  Decorative concrete overlays can create an entirely new look, and be the perfect alternative to tearing out an existing slab.  

Stamped concrete was a technique used mostly on freshly laid colored concrete.  For concrete a thin 1/4 inch overlay of  Stamp Master can be trowelled on to the existing concrete, then stamped.

There are unlimited colors to create from light pastel colors to deep vibrant colors.   Stamp Master will not discolor, and can withstand abusive freeze thaw cycles and heavy traffic.

A couple of coats of Cornerstone's Premium Acrylic will give the surface a high gloss shine and seal it from salt exposure, chemicals, and staining. Stamped overlays are identical in appearance to stamped concrete, yet it is significantly less expensive.

LONGER POT LIFE AND EASE OF WORKABILITY: Stamp Master has a long pot life (up to 2 hours).  It retains its smooth consistency longer, even at elevated temperatures.  Stamp Master has excellent workability and flow features.

DURABILITY AND STRENGTH:  Stamp Master is hard, tough and durable for interior and exterior exposure.  Stamp Master has superior flexural, tensile, and impact strengths as well as excellent abrasion resistance and adhesion.  Ninety percent (90%) of decorative overlays are not resistant to water (hydrolysis). These low-end decorative overlays in time will lose their adhesion and cause de-lamination problems when exposed to moisture, this is a major catastrophe for contractors. Because these overlays are not resistant to hydrolysis, the bond between the decorative overlay and the original concrete will break down, de-laminate and fail generally within 4 years.    Stamp Master on the other hand is immune to moisture problems and will not de-bond. In fact shear strength tests show that the concrete itself will break apart before the bond between the concrete and Stamp Master will break.

ADHESION:  Stamp Master has excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces such as new and old concrete, masonry, and brick.
Resistance Properties:  Stamp Master is uniform in color and will not yellow or discolor when exposed to exterior environments.  Stamp Master has excellent water resistance which decreases spalling, cracking, and surface degradation caused by repeated freeze/thaw cycles.  Stamp Master is also resistant to many industrial chemicals.
Curing Advantages:  Stamp Master does not require laborious moist-curing conditions for optimum strength.  Stamp Master is air-cured at ambient temperatures and relative humidity.
